We are pleased to announce that the BSCI/BSCCT trainee committee is looking for new members to join our enthusiastic and friendly team. This is a fantastic opportunity for cardiology, radiology and nuclear medicine trainees who have an interest in cardiac imaging to get involved in the behind the scenes work of the society.
As a committee, we are passionate about improving access to training and education in cardiac imaging for our trainees across the UK. We have great links with both UK and international leaders in cardiovascular research and are always looking to support new projects from our committee members. We also have a flourishing social media presence through which we actively promote the ongoings of the wider society.
We are looking for new committee members who are enthusiastic about connecting with other trainees and representing the interests of the trainee body within the society. You will have opportunities to participate in research, organise educational projects, create educational content, take on a social media role, manage the BSCI website or part of it such as the interesting cases section. If you are keen to help influence local and national agendas relating to cardiac imaging training and to support fellow trainees, then this is the society for you.
As a committee member you would be expected to actively contribute to the activities of the trainee committee, including key initiatives set out by the BSCI executive committee such as the annual BSCI/BSCCT conference, and to attend monthly meetings online.
