Other information: We are pleased to announce that the return of the enduring Plymouth based doctor-to-doctor Level 2 cardiac CT course. Teaching and hands-on training will be led by Professor Carl Roobottom and Dr Gareth Morgan-Hughes
The course follows the BSCI/BSCCT guidelines for level 2 accreditation, and over 4 days will include formal lectures and hands-on training with an analysis of 150 cases with contrast as required by the BSCI/BSCCT. The case mix will include 50 non-enhanced studies, chest pain patients, known coronary arteries disease, cardiac and congenital cases. The formal lectures will cover relevant but also topical material. Delegates will learn all aspects of post processing techniques and cardiac reporting on the AW workstation, learning to obtain the most from the technology to take back into the clinical setting.
There will be a one attendee per workstation, we keep the numbers attending to a maximum of 12 to ensure an optimal learning environment and more focused discussions.
After completion of the course, you will be expected to perform and dual report 25 cases in your local settings before applying for level 2 accreditation.
